In Mark 9, a father had brought his demon-possessed son to Jesus for healing. The father said, “If you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Do you believe that today? Do you believe that Jesus can help you overcome your grief? Do you believe that He can help you overcome your skepticism? Do you believe He can help you overcome your stubbornness? The father’s response was simple. “Lord I believe. Help my unbelief!” Maybe that is what you need to say to Jesus today.
