The gospel breaks down the walls put up by ethnic, geo-political, and even religious boundaries. It offers us citizenship in Christ’s kingdom regardless of where we are or where we have been. This citizenship is marked spiritually by conversion, physically by baptism, and emotionally by joy. We cannot disregard our mission mandate and settle for the pluralism of our secular society just because it is easier. As long as there are people who need to be saved by the gospel, we will be responsible for sharing it with them.
