At some point in our lives we will all stand at a crossroads. We will all have to decide what to do with Jesus. We will all have to decide what to do with the cross. The Bible tell stories of those who followed Jesus and it tells stories of those who were almost persuaded. Will we overcome our impossibilities and become followers, or will we let what we think is impossible keep us from eternal fellowship with God?

For further consideration:
Why are people so resistant to receiving salvation as a free gift? How does our sinful nature play into this type of thinking? What makes Christianity different from the false religions of the world with regard to human merit or performance? Do you think that the commandments are given to measure our performance or is it possible that they were given to measure our hearts against the nature and character of God? Can grace and pride coexist? Consider your walk with Christ. Has God changed your thinking or expectations or priorities? How have these changes been evident in your life?
