In our culture, much of what is taught about generosity is self-serving. Our culture and, unfortunately, many false-gospel teachers believe that we give in order to receive and that our physical prosperity is directly tied to generosity. However, the Bible teaches that true generosity isn’t manipulative and self-serving. True generosity is a trait of the God we serve, a God who gives in spite of our selfishness.
