Satan wants us to think that our schemes and backup plans are valid displays of faith. He will tell us to trust God, and then convince us to come up with a plan. Maturing faith will trust God not just for the promised outcome but for the timing and the strategy for achieving the promised outcome. God worked out His plan in His time and in His way when He sent Jesus to the cross. If we can trust Him with our salvation, we can trust Him with our sanctification.
