People who are willing to draw close to Jesus eventually understand who Jesus is and what He is really all about. Only as we walk in communion with Him can we ever hope to understand His desire and will for us. God has condescended (humbled) Himself to live the perfect life on our behalf and defeat the death we all deserve. What He has done, He has done plainly. By faith in what has been plainly revealed, He takes our sin and imputes to us His righteousness. The kingdom awaits those who have placed their trust not in what Christ may do, but in what Christ has already done.
