We live in uncertain economic times. It has been said that the next generation will be the first to not prosper in the way prior generations have. This generation seems to be experiencing difficulty in finding jobs and launching out on their own. We all know elderly people who have used up their own savings trying to support their children who should be supporting themselves. How do we cultivate a spirit of generosity and giving in such circumstances? How do we learn to be giving people in a society that stresses taking?
