We shouldn’t see the Great Commission as the last words of Jesus. Instead, we should see it as lasting words. It was always intended to be an ongoing mission transcending not only geographical and cultural boundaries but generational boundaries as well. As long as generations are being born, as long as people groups remain unreached, and as long as Jesus delays His return, we must continue to be “What Next?” Christians.
