How do we love the Lord our God? We listen to Him; we obey Him; we cling to Him. When our world seems to spin out of control or when sin begins to grip our hearts and minds or when Satan is crouching close seeking to devour us, putting unhealthy thoughts and doubts and fears in us, listen to the voice of God, and do what His word tells you to do. When the noise of the world drowns out His voice and culture blurs the lines between that which is good and that which is evil, then by all means and at all costs, cling to Jesus, for He is your way. He is your truth. He is your life.
