Even though we are powerless to maintain the standards of the covenant, God provides a way to keep us in, and that way is the gospel of Jesus Christ. The beauty of the cross is that by faith, Jesus takes away our sin and disobedience and imputes to us His righteousness and the obedience He has already accomplished on our behalf. We don’t need to know how He did it, only that He did it, and the one thing that He requires from us is faith in His all-sufficient work.
