David has been at Parkview since May 2019, when he joined full-time staff as the Worship Associate until December 2022. From January 2023 to May 2025, David served as the Director of Bands at Fort White High School, but he returned to Parkview in June of 2025 as the Associate Pastor of Worship & NextGen. David and his family are natives of Columbia County, so they have called this area home for their entire lives. He completed a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the Baptist College of Florida (now the Baptist University of Florida). David and his wife, Emily, have one child: their son, Jude.

David's responsibilities include assisting the other pastors in various ways: helping in the planning of services, events, and trips, teaching and leading the Parkview Student Band, preaching at Student Worship or Midweek Services when needed, hosting and producing the staff podcast: "Coffee, Rants, and All Things Christian," arranging music and technology needs for worship gatherings, leading out vocally and with a guitar for Sundays and every other worship event, recording and editing various testimonial and promotional videos, and anything else that might be needed! David is passionate about honest and authentic worship experiences, but also wants to make sure every believer knows that worship is not something contained to the walls of a church building, but should be done in everyday life, and at all times. He is also particularly passionate about investing in the next generation: pointing them to Jesus, preaching the gospel to them faithfully, and urging them to be bold in their homes, schools, and wherever the Lord takes them.
