The Parkview Student Ministry exists to partner with families to see their students believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, belong to the body of Jesus Christ, and become like Jesus Christ. In short: we exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We do this by teaching and equipping students through Life Groups on Sunday mornings, teaching on Wednesday nights, and dynamic events throughout the year. We want to create an atmosphere where middle and high schools students can connect with one another and with leaders, challenging to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
On Sunday mornings, we dive into God's Word using The Gospel Project. The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered, chronological study that will take your students on a journey through the storyline of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. Along the way, students will discover the big picture of what God has been doing throughout redemptive history, and what it means for them. We begin in a large group setting and then divide into age and gender appropriate groups to apply the section of God's Word that we have studied to our lives.
Our Life Groups begin at 9:45am in the 268 Café.
Wednesday nights begin at 5:30 in the gym and café. Here students have the opportunity to hang out, play basketball, volleyball, or other games and enjoy food and drinks available in the café. At 6:00 we move into the Warehouse for a time of worship and teaching from God's Word. Students are challenged to know and love God as well as live lives that bring glory to him.
