Our Cold Weather Shelter opens any time the temperature is forecasted to drop below 35 degrees. There are several different teams that mobilize for each opening and we work on a rotating basis as much as schedules allow. It helps to spread the work load among our volunteers, especially when the shelter is open for several nights in a row.
Our guests are given dinner, an opportunity to shower, a cot to sleep for the night, and breakfast the next morning. We also provide essential items like hygiene products, socks, coats, blankets, and towels.
If you would like to serve with our Cold Weather Shelter, simply fill out our Volunteer Form and a ministry leader will be in touch!
