Jesus is the wisdom of God, the One who humbled Himself, took on the curse for us, and offers us the blessing of eternal life. His worth is far more precious than silver and far more costly than gold, and far more beautiful than diamonds. Riches, long life, good reputation, and peaceful sleep are all things worth having, but having Jesus is better. Seek Him above all of these, and you might find that he adds these things to you in the process.
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” —Jesus (Matthew 6:33)

Reconsider the above opening statements. How do your answers to those questions reveal your passions? Are you seeking after the wisdom that Christ, or are you content with pursuing the things of the world? What are some things that need to change in your life so that you might have peace of mind? What keeps you from obeying the imperative commands in verses 27-31? What steps can you take in your life or what adjustments can you make in your attitude that will help you obey those imperatives and demonstrate love to your neighbor?
