Sometimes our troubles bring us to a place where we are silent before God. We stop complaining, but that is not all that God wants to accomplish in our lives. He doesn’t want our silence; He wants our trust and our love. God want sus to place our lives in His hands and believe that He does all things well. He wants us to know that He has our eternal interests mind when He acts lovingly towards us, as He did through the work of Christ and His cross.

Reflection
Take some time to survey the Psalms and write down the numbers of the Psalms that contain a reference to the majesty of God that is reflected in creation. Then, write down the Psalms that contain a reference to the work of God among His people for His redemptive purposes. Take some time to step outside and look around and thank God for specific things that you see that reflect His goodness towards you. Identify the things that stir your affections for God and praise Him for those things.
