Revelation reminds us that while the war has already been won, we are still in the fight. The purpose of Revelation should cause us to rise up and be faithful to this gospel, to patiently endure in this world, and proclaim this gospel wherever we go around the world until the Lamb of God returns to claim the full reward for His sufferings. Jesus is coming for His church. When He comes, will He find us faithful with the gospel that has been entrusted to us?
