God designed us to know Him and His will, but we cannot grasp what God has for us through the process of osmosis. Whether we are providing for our families, cultivating our marriages, or following Jesus, we must invest ourselves and our resources to do the work that is required. Only then will we experience the blessing of everlasting fellowship in the kingdom.

Reflection
Take some time to read Genesis 1:26-31 and Genesis 2:15. These verses remind us that everything in creation, even the work Adam was given to do, was good. He would find blessing in tending and keeping the garden. He would find blessing in exercising dominion over and caring for creation. Ow doe sour attitude towards work reflect our understanding of the gospel? How does our attitude at work promote or hinder the advancement of the gospel? How does our work ethic reflect a loving God? What steps must we take if our work ethic and attitude towards work reflects poorly on our witness for Christ?
