Jesus was born to suffer and to save. But you can’t be King without a kingdom. See, Jesus came to establish and inaugurate a kingdom – the kingdom of God. And if we are followers of our King, there is a question before us today. Are we living in the kingdom of God? Are we allowing the King of kings to be the King of our hearts? We don’t mind Jesus being king in title as long as he’s not telling us what to do. I don’t know about you but after reading Revelation 19, it tells me that God’s kingdom is not a democracy. He has final say. He is the One who is faithful and true.
