If we believe the words of Jesus, then we must believe that there is a kingdom prepared that is
not of this world. That kingdom is only accessed through salvation in Jesus Christ, a salvation that
is granted when we call on the name of Jesus. We have been sent by Jesus with God’s power,
God’s provision, and God’s peace. Let’s trust Him for all of these things and live boldly and
passionately and with urgency for His gospel and His kingdom.

If you have ever served in any kind of apprenticeship, what do you remember about your training
and about the first time you were left to do the work on your own? What are the advantages of
working as a team in mission work? What are the dangers of going alone? How do you think the
restrictions placed on what the apostles should take with them be applied today? How would
you define repentance to someone who had never been in a church? What do you think is the
definition of success with regard to our evangelism or mission efforts? Based on your idea of
success, what would you define as failure?
