Leviticus 9 is just one chapter in the Bible, but even at this early stage in the history of God’s revelation, a theology of worship is beginning to develop. God does not wait to see how good our music is or how dynamic it is to decide whether or not to show Himself. He prescribes worship, inviting us in to His presence, and we answer His invitation not with preferential music styles or proof texts, but with hearts of faith.
