Our own internal struggles are not merely chemical imbalance in our bodies. Our struggles are the manifestation of a battle between heaven and hell that has been taking place behind the scenes since sin entered the world. The hope of the gospel is that the outcome of the war has been decided, and the promise of glory awaits those who by faith in the victory of Jesus fight the good fight and finish the race.
