The problem is not that the world is unjust. We know that. We know that broken, sinful beings will create broken, corrupt systems. As Christians, as people who have been justified by a Savior, who have been made right with God based solely on the goodness of God and his love for us, we cannot let the injustice that plagues our world, infect us. We must stand for biblical truth. We must strive for biblical justice. We are told not to bear false witness because God is a God of truth and justice.

For further consideration: In what ways does the ninth commandment cover so much more than lying or bearing false witness in a court of law? Read Proverbs 18:17 and think about the wisdom behind that statement. Do you think that failing to heed this wisdom is prominent in the world of social media? If so, how do you keep from falling into that trap of believing only the first statement or only the statement that are made by people with whom you always agree? From a biblical standpoint, why is telling the truth of such vital importance? Read John 14:6 and consider actions that would demonstrate that we have embraced the truth of that statement
