Discipleship was something that was culturally embedded into the DNA of the Jewish people. Disciples lived, ate, traveled, listened, and studied under their rabbi. A good disciple, as one rabbi put it, was “covered in the dust of their Rabbi.” We are separated from our Master by centuries, but is it still possible to walk with Him in such a way that we become covered in the dust of our Rabbi?
